September 20th 2011- help us " Turn Wine into Water" campaign is launched.

Following another hot, dry summer here at the vineyard, the "Well" ran dry the day before harvest.

Without a water supply to the Domaine we were unable to start the winemaking process.

Sadly we were forced to sell our entire crop of 2011 and Domaine de Montazellis wines will miss a vintage.

On hearing the news our friends, customers, and locals rallied around offering their support, as a result the

"Turn Wine into Water" campaign was born.

We have put together a special offer "Campaign case" containing a selection of x6 bottles of Montazellis wines.

x2 Cuvee Etienne 2008 (oaked syrah), x2 Chardonnay 2009, x1 Syrah 2008, x1 Merlot 2008 all for £45.00.

All proceeds from the sales will go towards digging a new sustainable well at the Domaine, to continue our farming and winemaking for the future.

August 13th - 15th 2011 - Montachilllis II Wine Festival.

Our second Montachillis Festival took place this summer, over 150 visitors joined us from France & the UK to enjoy the festivities.

The day kicked off with ambient music being played around the Domaine, wines flowing from the cave, a brocante with knickknaks, clothes, toys, home-made cakes, fresh watermelon & Montazellis merchandise.

The childrens area was full of games and toys to keep the little ones busy, while the parents could choose to relax in the hammocks in the secret garden.

When the sun eventually set, the ruins of the old Church were beautifully lit by an array of purple & yellow spot lights. With the full moon shining down it was a truly picturesque setting for a summer festival.

Delicious, freshly cooked home-made food along with copious amounts of wine were served up by a team of beautiful young ladies.

The guests tucked in whilst being entertained with live performances on an outdoor stage hosted by music maestro Chris Ayling.

There was a mixture of classic songs performed by Roberto & Anastasia, French Rap from Papa wham singer Ben and young local talent (Stella, Kaiya, Zoe & Etha) took to the stage to sing their beautifully rehearsed pop songs.

For the party people, the music moved into the cave equipped with atmospheric disco lights where Paris DJ Booly Leferne started pumping out tunes to a packed dance floor until the early hours of the morning.

We all had a fantastic time with a great team of helpers, performers and lovely guests!!

August 13th- Montachilllis Wine at the Feria de Beziers.

Another party night at our wine stand at the Feria this year, a range of wines were offered by the glass or bottle.

The Montachillis II crowd brought the customers flocking in as it was truly the place to be in the wine village!!

January 2011 - Montazellis and La Pause Parfaite luxury tours and holidays.

La Pause Parfaite offers child free luxury holidays complete with chauffeur. Our Domaine is one of the featured vineyards the guests will be brought to in search of quality wines. Tastings are offered in French and English a fantastic opportunity to really discover the wines in an informative and relaxed environment.

December 2010 - Another year over.....it's cutting time again!

 

January 2010 - A new wine area opens in the Saturday market at Rue Anatole France, Pezenas. You will find us there every Saturday morning from 8.30am - 1.30pm.

 

14th August 2010 - Domaine de Montazellis at the Feria de Beziers.

We participated in the launch of the wine fair at the Feria de Beziers, where we offered wine by the glass under the umbrella of the Cotes de Thongue. Later on we joined up the Montachillis group and partied our way around the streets of Beziers until the early hours.

 

 

12th-15th August - The first Montachillis wine festival took place.

We hosted our first wine festival at the Domaine in August to tie in with the nearby Feria de Beziers.The festival was great fun and a success! wine tasting all day, a small brocante, face painting, fancy dress, candy floss and crepes for the kids, plus a camping area. In the evening we feasted on an Authentic paella from Spaniard Roberto and a tasty BBQ. This was followed by an open mic night in the Caveau with an amazing violin concerto from local ex pat Chris and his nephew. More musical entertainment followed with the the beautiful trio of singers Anastasia, Stella and Kaiya plus plenty of other singers and musicians played on. For the party people the night started with the DJ sets from Thomas, Dhanya and yours truely!. The next day breakfast was served for those who were awake courtesy of Connie and Paul "Mr Plus Belle La Vie" himself! That evening we all went on an excursion to the Feria de Beziers to experience a regional summer street party!!!

 

 

 

July 2010 - A new partnership is formed with UK distributer C2C wines.

Following our recent press coverage in the Daily Mail..May 2010, we received many enquiries for our wine. Steve Filby had just set up his new wine import business specialisng in the Languedoc, saw the article and got in touch. He is now our key distributer in the UK whom we work closely with.

 

 

03/05/2010 - Bottling the 2008 Merlot and 2008 Syrah Vintages.

The new wines are delicious! and are now available for purchase.

Nov. 2009 - Cheese, Wines & Jam Party is launched in Paris.

Cheese, Wines & Jam Party was launched in Paris by Ben Mckenzie & partners. To celebrate the love of Cheese, Wines and Jamming, the organizers gathered a mixed International crowd and offered them a selection of French bands, musicians, singers and open mike entertainment. There was lots of cheese around and plenty of Montazellis wines flowing into the early hours of the morning. this was the first of many events, watch this space for news on the next Jam. March 2009 - Montazellis Wines at the Jules Verne Film Festival -Paris

Montazellis wines made an appearance on the red carpet this month at the Jules Verne Film Festival in Paris.
